OnePlus 2 Brings USB Type C Port to Indian Customers

In the past, it takes months for other smartphone makers to catch up with Apple’s iPhone but times have changed. OnePlus has confirmed that their upcoming smartphone OnePlus 2 will feature a USB Type C port for easy connectivity.
The advantage of using this futuristic port is that you could easily charge the phone and even transfer data using the same cable. At the moment, it is available only on Apple’s Macbook and Chromebook Pixel 2 from Google.
It is exceptionally thin making it easy to integrate it into smartphones and is capable of transferring data at 10 GB per second and allows 100W to pass through, which charges the phone much faster than traditional micro USB ports.
OnePlus 2 is going to be a strong flagship phone at a budget price of $300 and might shake the market one more time. It offers a 5.5-inch 1080p display, has 3 GB of RAM and is powered by the latest Snapdragon 810 processor. There’s a 16 megapixel rear and a 5 megapixel front camera while the phone runs on Android 5.1 operating system, making it the best phone one could have without breaking their bank.
The phone is expected to get launched in the month of July in China and probably at the same time in India.
